The Ottoman Empire has been given a new flag design (which you can see in the image above, below the Swedish flag) which is, in my opinion, slightly more historically accurate and slightly more visually appealing. Major examples include the correction of the Cross of Saint George on the flag of Great Britain, which appeared rather 'squashed' in the original version, as well as alterations to the French monarchical flag so that the light gold fleurs-de-lis stand out more against the white background.
